Earlier today, we posted a story allegedly from ESO’s Gina Bruno indicating that she was resigning from the company due to an assault. It came to our attention after the story was published that Gina’s social media accounts were hacked. We appreciate both Gina and our own community for pointing out the forum post on the Elder Scrolls Online site clarifying that this was indeed a hacked post on Twitter.
From Thursday, September 20th through Friday, September 28th, Elder Scrolls Online’s play community will be working together to explore Summerset island to unlock a triple treat of collectible goodness: the Psijic Mascot Pony pet, the Psijic Escort Charger mount and the Grand Psijic Villa house!
The Elder Scrolls Online site has been updated with a look at new perks coming for ESO Plus members starting in November. Plus members can look forward to more crowns, free collectibles and more.
The Elder Scrolls Online site has been updated with a first-look at the upcoming Murkmire DLC and Update 20 that will arrive alongside it. Murkmire is part of the Plus membership program or the DLC can be purchased separately using Crowns. Update 20 will be free to all ESO players.
If you show up in Elder Scrolls Online for 28 our of 30 days in the month of September, devs will be handing you a gold star in the form of 100,000 gold. “This is the most gold you’ve ever been able to receive for a single activity in game (aside from Guild Trader sales, of course), and it has the potential to dramatically change your in-game fortunes!” the new blog post reads.
In honor of this weekend’s QuakeCon 2018, Bethesda is offering fans a chance to play Elder Scrolls Online for free from August 9th to August 15th. During the free play event, ESO’s base game and the island of Vvardenfell will be fully open to players on all platforms.
The Elder Scrolls Online site has been updated with a look at the monsters that inhabit Moon Hunter Keep. The ancient fortress is filled with Vykosa, or werewolves. Originally purposed as a stronghold for the Order of the Silver Dawn, those tasked with hunting werewolves, it has now at least partially fallen to infiltrators by “the very beasts the Order has sworn to destroy”.
The Elder Scrolls Online site has been updated with the news that the Midyear Mayhem PvP event will start today and run through August 6th. During the event, players will be able to take advantage of a special XP and AP boost. In addition, players can earn up to seven new achievements and special Boon Boxes that can contain PvP items, motifs, alchemy reagents, Transmute Crystals and so forth.
When the Wolfhunter DLC lands in Elder Scrolls Online, it will come with a pair of new dungeons, one of which is profiled today on the game’s official site. The March of Sacrifices dungeon challenges players “to survive Hircine’s Great Hunt”. The “outdoor” instance is “a perpetual contest between predator and prey”. Players will find all manner of creatures when embarking on the dungeon including “monstrous lycanthropes”.
If you want a forward look at the forthcoming Elder Scrolls Online Wolfhunter DLC and the game-wide updates in v4.1.0, you’re in luck. The PTS has been updated to bring both online. PTS testers can try out a pair of new dungeons, the new collectibles and item sets. IN addition, a new Battlegrounds map has been added as well as new Outfit Styles, Keep Recall Stones (Cyrodiil), the updated Respec System and more.
