The Thieves Guild will be Elder Scrolls Online’s first DLC of 2016, and it’s shaping up to be pretty massive in terms of content included. We caught up with ESO’s Creative Director, Rich Lambert to ask a few questions about the recent info dump on the content pack.

Elder Scrolls Online players have a lot of excellent new content to look forward to when the Thieves Guild DLC rolls out later this year. To get players excited about it, devs have released some teaser information.

In our last ESO column, our own William Murphy listed off his 2016 Wish List. In this list he makes mention to something that I haven’t really thought of before or even felt like I needed, but now I have this weird compulsion to have it implemented. Bill Murphy you have put this want, nay, need in my mind that has altered my ESO experience. All I can think about anymore is how or what new class would fit into ESO and what kind of abilities it would have.

Game Director Matt Firor has posted a new blog on the Elder Scrolls Online site to give players a look at what 2016 will bring to the game. He begins by reminding the community of the next two DLC, Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood, and that there is much more in store for the game.

Elder Scrolls Online is one of my personal current favorite MMOs. Zenimax Online may not be perfect, but they sure do deliver great content and seem ready and willing to listen to their players. 2015 had some fantastic updates and DLC, but 2016 could be even greater. In this week’s column, I’m going to list out some hopes and dreams about what to expect from ESO in 2016.

A local Irish newspaper is reporting that a local Customer Support Center for Elder Scrolls Online has been closed resulting in the loss of 300 jobs. Zenimax has closed its Galway, Ireland division just before the holidays.

The Elder Scrolls Online has been given the MMORPG award for Best MMORPG of 2015 and rightfully so. ESO strives where other games are beginning to fall behind, keeping the game alive and feeling new. Its content release schedule is probably one of the best I’ve seen from any company. Its primary focus is building the game the people want, which isn’t very common.
