When you load up a new character in The Elder Scrolls Online, typically you’d jump into the tutorial. That tutorial depended on what the latest Chapter release you owned. Now, though, ZeniMax has created what it calls a ‘universal experience’ for players in a new tutorial, regardless of which release you’re starting with.

ZeniMax Online Studios made the announcement today that the Console Enhanced versions of The Elder Scrolls Online would be delayed by a week from its original launch date, now being pushed to June 15th. Console fans eager to get into Blackwood however needn’t worry about that, as the upcoming chapter release is unaffected overall by the delay.

In an interview with The Washington Posts’ Teddy Amenabar, Matt Firor of ZeniMax Online Studios talked a bit about the current success of their MMO, The Elder Scrolls Online. While the MMO gears up to launch their next chapter, Blackwood, Firor talked about its foundation, as well as how long it plans to continue to create ESO into the future.
