Last weekend, Smashers from the 64 era all the way up to its the series’ latest Wii U offering met up in northern California to throw down at Genesis 3. If you’re hungry for some more Super Smash Bros. action or just weren’t able to catch the event live, the folks at Showdown have uploaded enough footage from the tournament to sate even the heartiest of appetites.

Dengeki Bunko FIGHTING CLIMAX IGNITION, French Bread and Ecole’s follow up to the original Dengeki Bunko crossover fighter, landed on consoles in Japan last month. The game features an expanded roster, adding multiple new characters into the mix.

For those looking to try out a certain Heavy Object protagonist, 2ndStage recentlly shared a handy guide for Quenser Barbotage. The video covers everything players will need to hit the ground running, from his basic gameplay mechanics to movement and even a few simple combos.

With fan favorite Alex standing in the background, Street Fighter V’s City in Chaos stage doesn’t need much help generating hype. Even so, that hasn’t stopped Capcom from creating a couple of killer tracks to pair with the action.

Thanks to the arena’s appearance in the most recent stress tests, Versus Fighting TV was able to capture these themes and upload them for the rest of the community to check out.

Thanks to Street Fighter V’s Crush Counter system and the fact that it applies to recovering uppercuts, the upcoming title presents players with an even better reason to be mindful when attempting hard reads.

In the video below, wauhti offers a look at the options Cammy can bring to the battle when presented with a counter opportunity. These options call for various amounts of super meter, and some require the use of a V-Trigger. As an added bonus, Cammy’s distance from the opponent after combo completion changes depending on the combo ender, potentially allowing for varied follow-ups.

Can’t wait until Thursday to get your fill of Street Fighter V competition? Well, the Mad Catz V Cup has got you covered with an early broadcast.

Mad Catz will be partnering with Showdown, Capcom, Red Bull, and PlayStation over the next couple of days to provide folks in northern California an opportunity to try out the upcoming title at San Francisco’s Folsom Street Foundry. Tournament action is planned for tomorrow’s Churning the Butter, but tonight’s event will see players like Mad Catz’ Tokido, Evil Geniuses’ Justin Wong, Capcom’s Peter “Combofiend” Rosas, Twitch’s Mike Ross, and Red Bull’s Snake Eyez compete in high-level exhibitions.

Kumite in Tennesee kicked off 2016 for fighting games in a big way. The tournament brought together players from across the United States to compete in a whopping fifteen games covered by seven live streams.

One of those streams was provided by PandaxGaming, who provided footage of Ultra Street Fighter IV, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Mortal Kombat X, Killer Instinct, Tekken 7, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Injustice: Gods Among Us, and Dead or Alive 5 Last Round.
