Old Man Bison Faces Charlie in Official Street Fighter V Screenshots

In case you’ve been away the past few days, Capcom recently dropped a brand new Street Fighter V trailer on us, showcasing the return of series antagonist M. Bison. Much like Charlie, the dictator was seen sporting a slightly different look, one that indicates some time has passed since his appearance in Street Fighter V.

If you were hoping for a closer look than what the reveal video provided, you’re in luck, because the developers followed the trailer up today with a handful of screenshots. In the gallery below, M. Bison is showcased in all his glory, offering some new perspectives on his apparent aging, the moves he’ll have in the upcoming title, and his renewed rivalry with past victim Charlie Nash.

Kuwait Battle Royale to Return in 2016

Kuwait has been the source of a number of fighting game events in recent years, from tournaments featuring invitees like Mad Catz’ Daigo Umehara and Evil Geniuses’ Justin Wong, to qualifiers for international events such as Shadowloo Showdown. Following the completion of the recent Kuwait Battle Royale: Spring Edition, Fikra is looking to bring back Kuwait Battle Royale proper in 2016.

Check out the trailer below for a sense of the history behind Fikra’s events and what they mean to the region.

Kuwait Battle Royale 2016 is scheduled for next April as a part of GAME Expo (GX) 2016. More details are sure to be provided by the organizers as we near that date, so stay tuned!

Unstoppable Jason Voorhees Doesn’t Need Legs or Even a Head to Revive in Mortal Kombat X

It’s no secret that Mortal Kombat X has had its fair share of glitches since launching in April. From insane meter gain for both Ermac and Kung Lao to some rather powerful applications for stage interactables, the folks at NetherRealm Studios have been rather busy patching the title over the last few months to correct issues that went undiscovered during testing.

Fortunately, the latest glitch finding is far from game-breaking and actually quite funny. As shown in the video below from Xhogar Varthus, if guest character Jason Voorhees happens to be downed by a specific Kenshi brutality, his Unstoppable variation’s revive mechanic will still go into effect. This allows the horror icon to live up to his reputation and rise from the dead despite his lack of lower appendages, leaving him floating in the air and still ready to fight.

Turn around, Kenshi! He’s right behind you!

This also occurs when Jason is facing Raiden and is beaten by the “head pop” finisher.

Since these were performed with a variety of Test Your Luck modifiers in place, it remains to be seen whether or not they will happen in a real match. Still, it’s a nice change of pace for Mortal Kombat X glitches to simply provide some humor instead of sending the community into a flurry of discussion over their legitimacy in competitive play.

Pick Up Some Useful Mobility Options in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U is all about using superior mobility and spacing to put your opponent in bad situations. Naturally, players who are able to get their character to exactly where they want when they want will have a marked advantage over those who spend most of the match spamming dash attacks.

With that in mind, two specific techniques, which have been dubbed wavebouncing and B-reversing, will help achieve ideal spacing in a couple of different ways. While not new to the game, they are rather difficult to perform without a clear understanding of exactly how to go about executing them reliably. In the video below, My Smash Corner covers everything you’ll need to know in order to start pulling these maneuvers off yourself.
