Square Enix has released a new gameplay trailer for Final Fantasy XV straight out of Gamescom. There are some spoiler-y things in the first three minutes, so if you’re a fan of story, you can skip ahead and get into the action after that. The video lasts about an hour and is packed with fighting, chocobos, driving and other fun stuff. It’s a good healthy chunk of action for your viewing pleasure that may help take the sting out of the release delay.

Final Fantasy XV Game Director Hajime Tabata and Square Enix have released a video announcement to confirm that the game is being delayed by two months and will be released on November 29th. The video was published after rumors began swirling about this weekend that the game would not be coming out at the end of September as expected.

During this mornings BBC 1 Radio broadcast of Breakfast Show with Nick Grimshaw, Florence + the Machine debuted three tracks from Final Fantasy XV. “I Will Be”, “Too Much is Never Enough” and “Stand By Me” were all featured on the program and will be available on iTunes later today (they are already available in the EU / UK).

The Final Fantasy XV Season Pass has been officially confirmed. Buyers will receive a ton of great items and packs for $25, a bargain for what’s included.

During this weekend’s San Diego Comic Con Square Enix released a new trailer for Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV. During the panel it was announced that the digital version of the movie will be released on August 30th with physical DVD and Blu-ray release set for October 4th.

Square Enix has unveiled a new promotion for Final Fantasy XV that could see players win an array of prizes including a car, a home entertainment system, action figures, wireless speakers, a custom XBox One console and much more. The first official English-language trailer for Final Fantasy XV: Kingsglaive, a movie version based on the soon-to-be released game, has arrived. During this evening’s Sony press event, attendees were shown characters all sporting the PlayStation VR headset and a new trailer illustrating what it would look like in game was shown. The VR version of Final Fantasy XV will arrive sometime near or shortly after the release of PlayStation VR on October 13th.

Slightly before the release of Final Fantasy XV for PlayStation 4 and XBox One, the FFXV: Kingsglaive movie will be coming to “select theaters” across the United States on August 19th. The names of the theaters and the cities where the movie will be released have not been revealed as yet. In addition, the movie will be released worldwide on Blu-ray and other digital platforms later this fall.
