The latest Grand Theft Auto Online update has been deployed that bring a number of brand new Special Vehicle Circuit Races into the game. There are ten races available, several of which introduce users of the Imponte Deluxo, Ocelot Stromberg and Mammoth Thruster to the wonders of SVCR.
If your wallet is a bit thin in Grand Theft Auto Online, this is a great week to head into the game to take part in a number of in-game events that will yield double GTA$ and RP. Smuggler’s Run Sell Missions and Stockpile will hand out double GTA$ through April 30th as well as double payouts for The Vespucci Job and the Hotring Circuit.
The Grand Theft Auto Online team has sent word that a new event will begin on April 23rd called The Vespucci Job. During the event, two teams “take to the streets”, one in the Issi Classic and one in a squad car in an epic battle of cops and robbers. The chased is trying to hit all of the checkpoints in time, while the chaser is trying to stop them from doing so. The event will also yield Double GTA$ and RP.
Grand Theft Auto Online has been updated to bring Contraband Week into the game. Players taking part in Gunrunning Sell Missions will have the opportunity to earn double GTA$ and RP through April 16th. In addition, using the Bunker Laptop and sending teams out to Research will see those missions run 50% faster to help unlock upgrades.
The latest Grand Theft Auto Online update has been deployed, this time centered around the new game mode called Target Assault Races. In it, players team up in the new mode “pitting speed vs precision in a fight for first place”. Teams of two take the wheel of any one of a number of vehicles with one driving, the other controlling the mounted gun. Every lap, drivers and gunners swap places to keep going in the race to earn as many points as possible.
Grand Theft Auto Online is growing by leaps and bounds with the addition of the Southern San Andreas Super Sport Series. In addition to a whopping five new cars, players will also find the first of two new Racing Modes, this one called the Hotring Circuit. It is designed especially for the Hotring Sabre car that is now available at Legendary Motorsport.
From today through March 12th, Grand Theft Auto Online players can take advantage of the Stunt Race challenge. All RockStar-created courses will yield double GTA$ and RP. In addition, a number of big discounts have been applied to the in-game shop and the Tartan livery for Pegassi Oppressor owners is out and about for free just for logging in.
The latest vehicle to be added to Grand Theft Auto Online is the “Karin 190Z”, a car featuring a definite nostalgic silhouette from the classic Datsun 280Z produced in the 70s. It is available in game from Legendary Motorsports. But that’s just the tip of this week’s iceberg.
If you’ve been looking forward to Valentine’s Day with your special someone, Grand Theft Auto Online has a special plan for you with its Till Death Do Us Part event. During the event, “up to four pairs of star-crossed lovers take part in the ultimate quadruple date”. Couples have one life between them to add an extra challenge to stay alive long enough to wear down the opponent.
GTA Online players have a lot of fun and big bonuses to be had during Battle Week. Throughout the week, players can take part in Motor Wars, Slashers, Occupy, and Hardest Target in order to earn double GTA$ and RP as well as take advantage of special offers from the game shop.
