Hearthstone players have a lot to look forward to with the release of the Grand Tournament expansion on Monday, August 24th. The expansion comes packed with 124 new cards along with the new Joust feature.

According to the company’s findings, Hearthstone manages to rake in $20 million in monthly revenue and is considered the "World of Warcraft" of the trading card game genre due to its trend-setting nature.

Following Blizzard’s all but confirmed expansion-adventure mode-expansion cadence, The Grand Tournament is the second pack-based expansion set for Hearthstone, which means players can look forward to a lot of new cards (132, to be exact!) when the expansion releases later next month.

The speculation is that a new expansion will be revealed, possibly something centered on Argent Tournament, as the theme from the Northrend location.

The Hearthstone site has been updated with a look at a new game mode called "Tavern Brawl". Set to arrive in mid-June, Tavern Brawl lets players face off against one another each week using preset rules that, for instance, might call for using premade decks or, alternately, creating a brand new deck according to specific guidelines.

Blizzard has announced that the final wing in the Hearthstone expansion, Blackrock Mountain, has opened up giving players the opportunity to face off against Nefarion. Players can log in now to give it a go.
