Designs are based around the recently released Legion expansion and over 50 entries were received. The top 3 contest leaders and several honorable mentions have been showcased on the Sketchfab site.
Lost Ark – Each Class to Have a Trio of Advanced Classes
Lost Ark is shaping up to be a pretty interesting MMO on the horizon. Reddit user ‘BarefootNinjja’ made a neat post with the six base classes and their attendant trio of advanced classes, what type of weapon will be used, and other useful data. As an example, an Assassin can become Shamanking, Pirate or Shadow, while Gunners can morph into Hawkeye, Devil Hunter or Blaster.

The World of Warcraft team has put up an interesting infographic about the pre-event that ran for three weeks prior to the launch of Legion earlier this week. WoW players took part in 155 million Demon Invasions, 2.5 million invasions were repelled, 3.9M Demon Hunters were created and so on.

With Legion now out and millions of players getting back into WoW, it seems like the MMO slump is starting to end. Why you ask? Well, many MMOs remain alive and do very well for the companies that run them. The trick is, there is nothing new coming to the table. At least, that is, for now. Livelock, formerly World War Machine, from Tuque Games and Perfect World is a hybrid twin-stick top-shooter and multiplayer ARPG. It can be played solo or with up to three people online with one of three characters (Capital Intellects), and it follows a linear narrative, with re-playability coming in the form of an endless Survival Mode that’s procedurally generated.
