The next Paragon hero is ready for deployment come August 2nd. Called ‘The Fey’, she is a crowd-controlling support caster designed to harass opponents as they travel the lanes. Check out The Fey’s introductory video below and let us know what you think!
Portal Knights: Keyboard Remapping & In-Game Chat Added
Portal Knights has been updated with a patch that brings quality of life improvements into the game. Most notably, in-game text and voice chat has been added as well as the ability for players to customize keyboard controls.
General: Book of Demons: Return to Classic Games with ThingTrunk?s Latest
Return 2 Games (Return2Games.com) is a new initiative by Polish developer ThingTrunk. Essentially, these guys are trying to reimaging classic games for a new audience, while paying homage and tweaking the design to make it their own. The first target is one of Blizzard’s greatest triumphs. But let’s call it… The Book of Demons.
Lost Ark: First Closed Beta Slated for August 17th
Steparu is reporting that the first closed beta event for Lost Ark is scheduled to begin on August 17th and run through August 24th. Players can sign up for testing but the pool is limited to 9,000 players. Sign ups will begin today when the site goes live (which at this writing, is not yet up).
General: StarCraft Universe Open Beta Begins
After five years in development, the KickStarter-backed Starcraft Universe, an MMO built using the Starcraft 2 modding tools, has finally hit open beta. The Starcraft Universe team raised nearly $90k via KickStarter and will continue to support the project through an Indigogo campaign.
General: Webzen to Launch MU Origin Today for Mobile Devices
Webzen has announced that MU Origin will launch later today for both iOS and Android mobile devices. Players can take on any one of three classes to explore the game world and to progress their characters through daily quests, story dungeons, arenas and moving through the main quest line.
Lineage 2: Mobile Tie-In, Blood Alliance, Previewed at ChinaJoy
NCSoft has pulled out all the stops with a preview of Lineage II: Blood Alliance, a mobile tie-in to the venerated game. Currently it is in its testing phase in China, with players receiving a special gift pack.

General: Finding the RPG in Elder Scrolls Legends
The NDA for The Elder Scrolls Legends has officially dropped, which means we can finally share our thoughts. So far on the site, we’ve had an excellent preview article and video preview from Mike Bitton and TheHiveLeader. We tasked Chris with looking at the game from an RPG player’s perspective and see what the game offers to Elder Scrolls fans who may not be sold on the CCG concept. Or, dare we suggest it, think the game is a Hearthstone clone.
Vainglory: New Update Brings Summer Rewards + Summer Season Finals
The Vainglory team has a pair of neat announcements about the game. The first reveals the dates for the North American and European Summer Season Championships. The North American finals will take place in Seattle on September 2-4. The European championship will take place on September 9-11 in Cologne, Germany.
