Titan Books has published its catalogue of forthcoming titles that tie into cinematic movies and video games. Of particular note is the announcement of series of 4 novels based on Bioware’s Mass Effect: Andromeda. It appears that there would be one prequel and three sequels that will possibly tie into the second game in the trilogy.
Warframe: New Team Sport Game Mode Launches
Digital Extremes has announced the first of three upcoming patches to Warframe. Lunaro is a new team-based sport within the game that challenges groups of four to defend their goal while simultaneously trying to shoot the “Lunaro” (the ball) through the opponent’s goal.
Lord of the Rings Online: Spring Festival Ongoing
From now through June 21st players can take part in the final days of the Spring Festival. Several activities, including horse racing and maze games to name a few, are included.
Adventure Quest 3D: Huge Update Brings Tons Of New Content
The Adventure Quest 3D site has been updated with the news that the biggest update in the game’s history has been deployed in the alpha version on Steam. Players can look forward to lots of new content, including a new dungeon called The Umbral Caves, new monsters, new NPCs, new quests, the first pass on crafting, treasure chests, the Shadow Wolf travel form and an expanded story line.
Overwatch: Korean Gamers Propel OW Into First Place
Overwatch has jumped into first place with Koreans who take part in games at locations such as PC Bang, an Internet cafe chain. League of Legends had held the first position among these gamers for the past 4 years but has been unseated with Overwatch’s soaring success.
Firefall: Headed To Mobile Devices & PS4
In a short post on the Firefall site players and fans have been informed that the team has plans to bring the game both to mobile devices and PlayStation 4. The post also indicates that there are further plans for Firefall, but that the current focus is the deployment to mobile devices and PS4.
