Blade & Soul: Review in Progress
We’ve been playing Blade & Soul alongside the million-plus new players to NCSOFT’s latest game over the past week and a half. In that time, we’ve leveled up an Assassin to 25, a Blade Dancer to 25, and several other alts. One thing’s for sure… B&S combat is superb. But is there more to it than that? Wizard101: Teamwork Tips
Admit it, you’ve pulled a Leeroy Jenkins at least once. The excitement and anticipation of battle can lead to some unprepared fights … and that’s okay sometimes. In fact, even if you have no idea what you’re doing, most people can manage to muscle through a boss with little to no problems. Camelot Unchained: Mutiny & a Snowstorm
A few weeks is a long time on the internet. Last time I checked one day in internet time is equal to 2 weeks real time. After roughly an hour and a half with the new mode I can say without hesitation that it’s turned me, a jaded MMO veteran, into a TCG enthusiast.
General: Master X Master – A New Direction in the MOBA Genre
Master X Master is the latest entry into the MOBA market for NCSoft. The game separates itself from the classic MOBA design by working a very strong action RPG style into its build. Players will not only be able to compete in matches, but also play through scenarios in co-op mode. Adding these two mechanics into a fresh MOBA design along with fun characters from NCSoft classics like Guild Wars and Blade & Soul, and you have a new direction in the MOBA genre.
Necropolis: Co-Op, Crafting, and More with Mitch Gitelman
Necropolis is an upcoming Action RPG with roguelike trappings, akin to the ever-popular games Dark Souls and Bloodborne. But Necropolis approaches the genre with a bit more humor, a little more irreverence, and a lot more dynamically generated dungeon romping. Read on for our interview with Harebrained Schemes’ Co-Founder and Studio Manager, Mitch Gitelman.
