Guild Wars 2: Raid’s Away – Spirit Veil Opens First Wing
ArenaNet has announced the opening of the first-ever Guild Wars 2 raid. Spirit Veil is the first wing in a three-episode raid that will challenge even the most battle-hardened players. Raiding in GW2 will give players the opportunity for flexible grouping with the ‘universal healing’ that all professions have, as well as immediate access to Spirit Veil since no attunement or pre-raiding activities are required.
Albion Online: 6 Days to First CBT Event – New Trailer Spotlights Combat
The Albion Online team is ramping up the excitement for the start of the first closed beta event scheduled to begin on November 23rd. As part of the coverage they’re providing both current and potential founders, a new video showing off the new combat system has been released. Alterations in combat have come in direct response to player feedback during the Summer Alpha event and more diversity and depth to armor and weapons plays a large part. Check it out!
General: Global War MMORTS Closed Beta to Begin November 18th
GameGo has sent word that its new MMORTS, Global War, will be kicking off the initial round of closed beta testing beginning on Wednesday, November 18th. Global War is a browser-based MMORTS and is set during the Second World War.
TERA: New Starter Zone Launches for EU Version
Gameforge has announced that the EU version of TERA has launched the new Lost Island starter zone. The new player experience has been completely overhauled to streamline the leveling path to the main game.
Granado Espada Online: Players Invited to Create a Character in New Contest
Grandado Espada EU players are being asked to unleash their creative sides in a new contest to help bring the next NPC into the game. Players have from now through mid-January to create a character based on the game’s lore and locations. There’s a nice package of rewards for winning, most notably the character’s inclusion in the game.
ELOA: Elite Lord of Alliance: Open Beta Kicks Off Today
Webzen has announced that the ELOA (Elite Lord of Alliance) open beta has kicked off. The game’s official release is slated for November 24th. Open beta testers will be able to take on the game through level 30, check out the Mud Swamp Floor dungeon and take part in PvP Blood Bath and Honor Battlefield zones in addition to 1v1 and 4v4 matches.
