My favorite moment of EVE Vegas 2015 was the swell of the crowd when the first new doomsday weapon was shown to the audience that had travelled around the world to pack themselves into the Planet Hollywood conference center. As the laser beam charged, you could sense a spike in tension that, as the beam finally exploded forward and began cleaving a path across the sky, erupted into applause and excitement as fans cheered and screamed.

Daybreak Game Company has posted a new article detailing the ways players will be rewarded for helping beta test the Everquest II expansion, Terrors of Thalumbra. Players will have a series of adventure quests to complete on the beta server which will result in a "Kaeonos, the Dark Spirit" reward on live servers when the expansion is released.

Perfect World Entertainment has announced that Arc Voice will now be a staple feature of the multi-game launcher. Arc Voice will allow players to build friends lists, create private and public channels, and will allow for both voice and text chat. Arc Voice will be part of the launcher after tonight’s maintenance.

Runescape fans will be happy to hear that the competitive online TCG tie-in, Chronicle, will be hitting closed beta status on Wednesday, November 25th. The game was well-received during the recently held RuneFest where players got a firsthand look at the new game. Runescape: Chronicle is expected to launch in 2016 for both PC and iPad.
