Built upon the ideals that made Multi User Dungeons the precursor to what we now know as MMORPGs, MUD seeks to bring players into a world that reacts to their choices. Star Wars: The Old Republic: Companions to Remain Available
The Star Wars: The Old Republic forum has been updated with a new post to reassure players that their existing companions will remain available to them outside of the story Chapters in the Knights of the Fallen Empire expansion. During Chapters, a specific group of characters will be accompanying players.
