Echo of Soul: Review in Progress #1
Echo of Soul is a F2P MMORPG developed by Nvius and published for North America and Europe by Aeria Games. It released on Steam in mid-June and actually boasts, "Most Anticipated MMO of 2015!" (for someone I assume). With high expectations, I dove into the game and here are our first impressions on the road to our final review.
General: Torchlight Mobile – E3 Hands On with Runic’s Latest ARPG
You wouldn’t expect a mobile version of any core PC or console game to be good. But we’ve been proven wrong before. Look at Transistor, Bastion, even the LEGO games. Hell, Minefract is pretty great on the phones and tablets. So why can’t Runic’s Torchlight make a splash on mobile? Well, it can and it will. Read on for our hands on from E3 2015.
Gloria Victis: Large Update Deployed – Achievements, Tutorials & More
Gloria Victus has been updated with a large new patch that brings several new systems and features into the game as well as a number of bug fixes and improvements to existing systems. Most notably, the achievement system, log in rewards, a friends list, a better new user experience, enhanced tutorials and more have been added.
General: The Skies Devs Apply Large Update
For those who have tried the very first alpha for The Skies, but have not logged in recently, the development team is extending new invitations to check back in to see the new content and improvements made since then. A large update has been applied to the game that includes a new UI, new statistics, customization and more.
Forsaken World Mobile: Fashion Clothing Revealed
Fedeen Games is approaching 20,000 registered fans for its upcoming release of Forsaken World Mobile and has announced that it has won the "Top Developer" badge from Google Play. Lastly, fashion outfits are on tap for release as well and players can get a good look at them on the game’s site.
Anarchy Online: New Engine Version Now Available
The Anarchy Online forum has been updated with a post that indicates that the new engine version of the game is now available for download and installation. Additionally, a Reddit petition has begun to urge developers to start a brand new server using the new engine.
Overwatch: Zarya Latest Gameplay Star
Tanky Zarya is the latest Overwatch hero to be featured in a nearly ten minute gameplay video from Blizzard. Zarya plays on the defending team in the Temple of Anubis, a Point Capture map located on the enigmatic Giza Plateau.
General: Trion Hinting at a New Game
A new, very sparse, site has cropped up called "Devil Inside You" along with a quote that says, "In the shadow’s dying light let the devils guide our fight". But what is of particular note is the Glyph symbol in the URL bar or on the site tab. Glyph, for those who do not know, is the launch platform for all of Trion’s games.
Dying Light: #DrinkForDLC Campaign Underway
The Dying Light team has announced a new campaign to get a free docket code that gives players an awesome in-game weapon. Called #DrinkForDLC, players are encouraged to post pictures of themselves drinking water in order to earn some of the new free DLC that the team is creating. Check out the incremental goals and the stretch goals. The first is already achieved with a 50% XP boost to player agility starting Sunday, June 28th.
