ArcheAge: Trion ‘Fesses Up to Mistake, Makes Good

A post on the ArcheAge forums continues, or hopefully ends, the controversy created last week with a gift sent out to former players. "Return to ArcheAge" packages included several RNG boxes, potions and Library access scrolls. However, several random boxes also included the $100 "Secrets Pack" and the Cynafin Dolphin which gave its name to the issue now known as "Dolphingate". Players loudly decried the move. Trion has subsequently admitted the error in judgment and is making good with players.

Heroes of the Storm: New Mounts & Skins Shown in Latest Trailer

Blizzard has released a brand new trailer to show off some of the new skins and mounts that players can expect to find in Heroes of the Storm. Newly-announced Sylvanas Windrunner gets tons of new looks thanks to the available skins, as does Murky as "Funny Bunny". The Mechanospider mount and the Ironside Dire Wolf mount are shown as well as an awesome looking Mecha Tassadar for those looking for a Transformers-esque skin. General: Easter Comes to Forge of Empires, Grepolis and The West

InnoGames is getting a jump on Easter this year by hosting in-game events in three of its games. Starting March 25, Forge of Empires is holding an egg hunt, then on April 1, Grepolis and The West follow suit (respectively) with a magic reward-laying hen and a festive bandit duel.

General: Project Fanfaire Seeks to Raise Funds for Las Vegas Event

A new Kickstarter program has begun in order to raise funds for a Las Vegas event to replace the now-cancelled SOE Live. With the sale of Sony Online Entertainment to a venture capital corporation, the annual event was tabled for this year. Fans hope to rekindle interest in the community event with "Project Fanfaire".

Armored Warfare: Matchmaking Detailed in New Developer Blog

Obsidian Entertainment has posted a new blog post on the Armored Warfare site that lays out the details on matchmaking as it will appear in the game. Of particular note is the assertion that matchmaking will be based on a battle rating rather than a static system of tank tiers.
