Perfect World International will see its sixth expansion launch on December 16th. Called "Eclipse", the expansion brings an overhauled starter zone, the new "Nightshade" race and two new classes into the game alongside new content, gear, quests and more.
Kabam and Marvel have announced that the two companies are working in cooperation to create a second mobile RPG based on the Marvel superhero IP. The first game, Marvel: Contest of Champions, is set to be released later this month with the as-yet-unnamed game targeting a Fall 2015 release across multiple platforms.
Heroes of the Storm has been updated with a new patch that brings Warcraft’s most powerful mage, Jaina Proudmoore, into the game. She brings a formidable array of icy spells into HotS, as well as a Water Elemental. In addition to Jaina, Winterveil skins for all characters have been released and players have been informed that XP boost "stimpacks" will be available for purchase soon.
EVE Online devs have released a brand new video to show off some of the features that will be headed into game when the Rhea expansion launches on December 9th. The video takes a look at new wormhole systems, two new ships, overhauled ships and more. Check it out!
According to information taken from a press release held in Korea earlier today, the open beta for the highly-anticipated Black Desert will begin on December 17th. Players will be able to download the client beginning on December 10th and be able to create their characters from December 12th-15th.
Bioware has announced that Early Access for the latest Star Wars: The Old Republic expansion has officially kicked off. Subscribers will have a full week to enjoy Shadow of Revan before it opens to all players. The update also brings to bear the new Discipline system and many of the quality of life improvements Bioware has detailed in several developer blogs. All players will have access to this new content.

Ubisoft’s The Crew might be a good overall indication of what we can expect from MMOs in the next several years. How you look at that statement could be a good or a bad thing. I spent the better part of last night and this morning delving into the live service of Ivory Tower’s racing MMO. Though I don’t think we’ll need the usual 4-5 weeks to come to a conclusion about The Crew’s performance, because there are only so many different things you can do behind the confines of a car.
Webzen has announced the Age of Wulin expansion, Chapter 3: Wisdom is a Journey, has launched on its EU servers. The expansion brings new quests, adventures and locations to explore as well as character improvements such as a fourth Internal Skill and more. Players will also be able to challenge themselves with new, more difficult versions of some dungeons.
