A new KickStarter initiative has started for Descendents, described as an open universe space-themed RPG. The game is a multiplayer’s dream with over twenty factions and a complete universe to explore. The project is seeking $900,000 in the next twenty-six days.
It’s Thanksgiving week here in America, and if you’re anything like us, you’re in a turkey-induced haze, ready to log into your favorite video game. It’s also a time of year to reflect and think about all of the things we’re grateful for. Fans of Civilization Online will want to check out a pair of new videos showing how character customization has been improved during the ongoing beta test in Korea. Initially, character creation was considered overly simplistic. With tester input, customization is now robust and multifaceted.
According to the latest financials released by Perfect World Entertainment, operations in the United States have had an adverse affect on the company’s earnings. While PWE made a slight profit overall in a year-to-year comparison, the increase was due largely to revenue generated by Chinese earnings by DOTA 2 and a pair of mobile games that have scored well with the same audience.
