A new documentary centered primarily around World of Warcraft will be making its debut soon. Called "WoW Mom", the documentary originally started as a project to bring attention to Terry Bolts’ rare form of cancer. It later evolved into a journey of discovery at how gaming communities, many within World of Warcraft most notably, have been created to bring sufferers from a wide range of ailments together in a therapeutic manner.
Lucky stiffs Garrett Fuller and Bill Murphy are boots on the ground at the 2014 Blizzcon in Anaheim, California. The event doesn’t begin until tomorrow, but the guys have sent a picture of the annual goodie bag.

Blizzard has released a trailer for an upcoming World of Warcraft documentary entitled "Looking for Group" that chronicles the game’s ten years of existence and takes a look behind the curtain. Bandai-Namco has announced that a new patch has been released for Lords of the Fallen. The main issue now solved is a game-breaking bug that cropped up when players fell into a pit in the Catacombs.
Webzen has announced that Sevencore is now part of its online games portal. Sevencore’s previous host, Route Entertainment Korea, has merged its membership database with Webzen’s. Anyone with a Webzen account can now log in and play Sevencore for free.
The Everquest 2 site has been updated with news of the just-announced Aerakyn player race. Players will be able to purchase the ability to play as Aerakyn beginning November 11th and a new developer blog is on the site to lay out the unique qualities of the Aerakyn.
Yesterday, EA announced that Dawngate, its first foray into the MOBA genre, would be shutting down in 90 days. I sometimes find myself surprised at how cynical I’ve become in my years writing about videogames, but this news honestly came as a surprise to me. Was I naïve to think that Dawngate had a snowball’s chance in hell at survival?
