Everyone has a fighting chance
NCSoft has confirmed that it is ‘restructuring key operations" within the company that will include a round of layoffs across all Western propertiess, including Carbine Studios, developers of WildStar. This does not, however, include ArenaNet, developers of Guild Wars 2.
This Friday at Noon PST (3pm EST) the Points of Interest crew will be joined by ArenaNet’s Colin Johanson and MMORPG.com’s own Bill Murphy for a special show about the upcoming Season 2, Episode 5.
Perfect World has announced the release of the Swordsman expansion, Gilded Wasteland. Players have new instances and dungeons to explore, an increased level cap with its attendant skills and abilities and much more to check out when logging into the game today.

Ubisoft has announced the first in game event for Might & Magic Heroes Online. Players are to collect Mercury for the Crimson Traders. Finding and exchanging enough will see players rewarded with new units.
Portalarium has announced that Steam Early Access for Shroud of the Avatar will begin on November 24th. Early Access patrons will have an opportunity to help test the build that, with tweaks and fixes, will become the Steam EA build in November.
The Dungeon Fighter Online team has let us know that it is running a special Facebook promotion to raise ‘likes’ to 30,000 by the end of the month. If reaching the goal, fans will be awarded a special avatar when the beta goes live in March 2015.
