Blizzard’s keeping its team brawler Heroes of the Storm festive this month by adding in some fun new Hallow’s End skins including: Countess Kerrigan, Skelethur Abathur and the first Legendary skin, Infested Tychus. They’re also launching a new program that gives players two more ways to join the game.
Consumer market research firm the NPD Group this week released news that’ll make Bungie’s year – its online shooter Destiny is at the top of the U.S. game sales list for the month of September. Beating out titles like Madden, FIFA and even Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor, Destiny can now lay claim to being the biggest new franchise launch in video game history.
In ArenaNet’s last Points of Interest, the crew talked a lot about Dry Top and how its general design is the direction Guild Wars 2 zones might go in the future. "If you like the stuff in Dry Top, you’re in luck," said Living World Principal Content Designer Teddy Nguyen. "We always look at previous releases to see what worked and what didn’t work. It’s always a process of zeroing in on what you guys really want. It’s one of our more successful maps in terms of, well, everything."
SMITE players can take advantage of this weekend’s "The Reaping" event to score a cool Jack’o’lantern icon for the first win of the day. During The Reaping, all gods are playable, and players can snag 2x worshipers. The event runs from today through Sunday, October 19th.
City-State Entertainment has announced that more Camelot Unchained players have been added to participate in today’s pre-alpha testing events that will include a look at battleground PvP. Players entering today’s event will notice a new build is in place since Wednesday’s play.
Beginning October 16, The Settlers Online is kicking off its annual Halloween event which means in addition to the usual Halloween festivities, a new building, new buffs and a new boss fight.

According to Jagex, this year’s Runefest fan gathering was the most successful one in the event’s history. Fans traveled to England from as far away as the United States and Australia and took part in developer panels and general good times with other sharing a passion for RuneScape.
