Blizzard has announced that elimination rounds for tournament play during Blizzcon will take place in the week prior to the annual convention. Teams will face off in Hearthstone, Heroes of the Storm, World of Warcraft and Starcraft II elimination matches beginning on October 28th, with the World Championships for each to be held during Blizzcon the following week.

Jagex Games Studio has announced that DarkScape has officially launched. DarkScape includes portions of RuneScape’s Gielinor game world and twists it into a pitched PvP sandbox environment. The world is divided into low-, medium-, and high-risk areas, each containing its own resources and economy, the best resources located, of course, in the high-risk DANGER ZONE.
