Square Enix announced today that the much-rumored remake of Final Fantasy VII is indeed a reality and will be heading to the PlayStation 4, though no release or anticipated window was announced. The team did, however, send out a great new video. Check it out!
Ubisoft today unveiled the sequel to last year’s South Park: The Stick of Truth during today’s press event during the first day of E3. Called South Park: The Fractured but Whole, players will take on roles as The New Kid and join South Park characters to investigate the dark heart of South Park alongside Coon and Friends.

Bandai Namco has made every JRPG fan’s day by announcing Tales of Zestria for both PC (via Steam) and PlayStation 4. Earlier, Tales of Zestria was revealed for PlayStation 3, but the two new versions will join it on October 16, 2015.
Legendary game designer Chris Crawford has launched a Kickstarter campaign for a very different kind of game. Siboot is a game that will test your emotional intuition, rather than you puzzle solving ability, and demonstrate a radical new technology designed to take interactive storytelling to the next level. The plan is to make this technology open source, a move that could revolutionise how we understand and interact with virtual worlds."

When I first saw Guild of Dungeoneering, I’ll admit, I wasn’t interested in the slightest. By taking one look at a screenshot it almost looked too simple to me. Despite the common saying of not judging a book by its cover. 10 hours later and the developers at Gambrinous have completely proven me wrong with an early build. Guild of Dungeoneering appears simple from the outside, yet it gives you a fun tabletop card game to play with its own unique twist.
E3 is one of my favorite shows, and although developer announcements seem to be happening earlier and earlier each year in anticipation of the conference (I’m looking at you, Fallout 4 and new Xbox One SKU), it’s still an exciting time to get an advanced look at what’s coming down the pipe for MMOs and RPGs.
