BMCO, also known as Bionic Marine Command Online, has been selected for the Steam Greenlight campaign. Fans of the fantasy steampunk genres will want to check it out as the game is described as a mash up of several different game types.

For the better part of a decade I played MMORPG’s almost exclusively. I would sprinkle in the smash hit from other genres that came along but chances are if you caught me playing a game it was a MMORPG. I was also a sheep for the PC master race campaign. Over the past year I have quickly evolved into something else. Probably something I should have been all along.

Fast forward to our modern world and the team at Otherside is working on Underworld Ascent as a new RPG which will bring back the game in a new version for fans. Paul talked about what it was like working on the game in the past. He also sheds some light on the new project and gives RPG fans something to look forward too.

The start of 2015 ushers in a new year of eagerly-anticipated releases. Neojac has announced that its Atavism engine has officially launched on Steam. According to press information, Atavism allows builders to focus on the game world without having to be programmers. Atavism costs $70, though builders can snag a copy for $59.49 for the first two weeks of release.

Daedalic Entertainment has announced the worldwide release of Blackguards 2, a strategic role playing game that brings back some of the first game’s iconic Blackguards for another adventure. Blackguards 2 is available for PC and Mac and can be purchased in the Steam store for $31.49. To celebrate today’s release, Daedalic has sent out a brand new trailer.

Focus Home Interactive has sent out a brief Twitter post that announces a new title called "The Technomancer", an apparent sequel to Mars: War Logs. At this time, no other details have been revealed but we’ll keep you posted!

During this week’s Focus Next event, Focus Home Interactive and DontNod have announced a new RPG called Vampyr. According to the scant information revealed, the game takes place shortly after World War I with players taking on the role of a vampire physician. The moral quandary pits the needs of the doctor against the needs of his patients.
