Master X Master is the latest entry into the MOBA market for NCSoft. The game separates itself from the classic MOBA design by working a very strong action RPG style into its build. Players will not only be able to compete in matches, but also play through scenarios in co-op mode. Adding these two mechanics into a fresh MOBA design along with fun characters from NCSoft classics like Guild Wars and Blade & Soul, and you have a new direction in the MOBA genre.

General: Multiplatform Livelock Top-Down Co-op Shooter Announced

Perfect World Entertainment has revealed more specific information about its next title, Livelock. Originally developed as a cooperative ARPG called World War Machine, Livelock is being released by PWE as a top-down cooperative shooter for PC, XBox One and PC. The release will take place in 2016 with all platforms to arrive simultaneously.

General: Smedley & Team Cancel Hero’s Song KickStarter

John Smedley and team have sent word that the KickStarter initiative to fund Hero’s Song has been cancelled. According to the KS update, the team realized that the trend in acquiring nearly $800,000 to complete Hero’s Song was too low and that the goal was not going to be met.

General: Nexon Introduces Riders of Icarus

Nexon has revealed the first information about its forthcoming Riders of Icarus, a forthcoming free-to-play MMO that will allow players participate in aerial combat. Players will be able to fly on mounts as diverse as bears to fire-breathing dragons. Combat will take place on land and in the air.

General: Tales of Symphonia Arriving on Steam Next Week

Fans of JRPGs will be happy to hear that Namco Bandai is releasing the classic game, Tales of Symphonia, on Steam on February 1st, though some reports are saying February 2nd. The game features eighty hours of game play and real-time battles. Pricing is not yet announced, so you’ll have to wait until February 1st to find out.
