Square Enix has announced that Dragon Quest Heroes: Slime Edition will be officially launching for PC on December 3, 2015. The Slime Edition features eleven additional weapons and two bonus maps along with Steam achievements and badges.
General: Pangaea – Post Apocalyptic Survival MMO Introduced
LVR Studios has sent word that a new multi-platform post-apocalyptic survival MMO is in the works. Pangaea is in the works for PC, Mac, PlayStation 4 and XBox One. Pangaea is targeting a late 2016 release and is featured as one of the promising titles for the upcoming year on Steam Greenlight.
General: Escape from Tarkov – Hardcore Narrative MMO Set in Russia
The first details have emerged about a new MMO called Escape from Tarkov set in the fictional Russian city of Norvinsk. Called a "hardcore online game", players will take the role of ex-mercenaries trying to survive and escape from the city.
General: Warhammer 40K: Dark Nexus Arena Early Access in December
Whitebox Interactive has announced that its hybrid MOBA-shooter, Warhammer 40K: Dark Nexus Arena, will be ready for Steam early access beginning on December 9th. The game has been in closed beta testing since May and the development team has made several key alterations in gameplay, including the removal of "lane" styled battle in favor of a more literally open battlefield.

I was surprised that Twitch were putting on a marathon of The Joy of Painting, on the surface it seems so anathema to what Twitch is all about. Having said that, I wasn’t surprised at its initial popularity. The idea had tons of novelty for the usual twitch crowd, and the show is earnest enough that it makes for an easy target for that schoolboy ‘my first ironic detachment’ attitude that the videogame audience is so bound to.

General: OpenCritic Adds Up Ranking Graphs, New Ways to See Reviews
Open Critic has announced some changes to review displays on games to further facilitate finding the best games out there according to both user and editorial reviews. The new graphs give a visual representation of the distribution of any title scored on OpenCritic and indicates where in the spectrum of all reviews it falls. Rather than simply assign a highly relative numerical score, ranking a title gives a player a better perspective on any game’s overall reception.
