The Neverwinter site has a pair of new developer blogs that are of interest to players. The first deals with a new overworld zone that will be coming to the game called Bryn Shander. The second deals with forthcoming changes to the Scourge Warlock.

Perfect World Entertainment and Cryptic Studios have announced that the PlayStation 4 head start in Neverwinter has kicked off as of today. Players who purchase an Onyx Head Start pack for $20 can begin playing immediately and take advantage of several in game perks.

The Neverwinter site has been updated with a blog post that lays out some of the first details about the game’s next expansion called Storm King’s Thunder. One thing that folks can look forward to is the presence of giants, and a lot of them.

Neverwinter players will be honoring the Goddess of Joy during the Celebration of Lliira that will kick off on June 30th and run through July 5th. During the festival, players can grab professional fireworks by defeating creatures within seven levels of their own and can also grab them from crates throughout Protector’s Enclave.

Cryptic Studios and Perfect World Entertainment are inviting players to come celebrate the third anniversary of Neverwinter. Players will start off with the Protector’s Bounty to all who help merchant caravans reach the city in time for the celebration and free gifts will be offered each day between now and Thursday, June 23rd.

Guilds will get a massive boost on Neverwinter with this latest update to the game. The Maze Engine allows for guilds to form alliances and forge their strongholds.

Cryptic Studios and Perfect World Entertainment have a pair of big announcements for Neverwinter. In summer 2016, Neverwinter will make the jump to PlayStation 4 that will include the base game, all eight playable classes and nine expansions.
