Today, New World gets a new update that will focus on several fixes and balance changes, most notably a bit of an overhaul to the Great Axe perk Gravity Well.

Moving into May, the latest New World update is focused on fixes, but it also opens up names that had been locked when characters using them were deleted.

The May update for New World is now up on the PTR. The single-server test adds new PvP rewards track, opens up 3v3 Arenas, combat tuning, mid-game content, and much more.

Amazon Game Studios has just released a notice on the official New World forums outlining new details on how server transfers are going to be dealt with going forward, after several rounds of free server transfers and server merges, focused on merging low population servers. In addition to the paid transfers, players will now be able to transfer regions as well.

The April dev update for New World dives into the next update, which is full of fixes, balance changes, and quality of life updates. They also discuss upcoming PVP focused changes, events, and responses to the community.

Corruption and bunnies combine for loot hunting in New World, as the latest update fixes a couple of issues and begins the new Rabbit’s Revenge event.

More servers across regions in New World will be merged later this week. These merges follow the merges of free servers made for the recent Steam Free Weekend.

The latest New World update has fixed several major quest bugs and additional issues, while setting up a Steam free weekend for anyone to try out the full content.

The Heart of Madness update is live for New World and Amazon is holding a double XP weekend starting tomorrow.
