Hi-Rez Studios has announced the first Paladins Invitational Tournament to be held in Atlanta, Georgia in January 2017. Teams from North America, Europe, Brazil, Latin America, China, and Australia / New Zealand will be taking to the battlefield to compete for a share of the $150,000 prize pool.

Hi-Rez is pretty excited about the commencement of today’s Paladins open beta. The open beta for the game will take place on Steam later today and comes packed with improvements, new features and much more, all thanks to input with the community.

Hi-Rez Studios and Tencent have inked a deal to bring a fully localized version of Paladins to Chinese gamers. Chinese Paladins players will have an opportunity to participate in game activities and the top Chinese Paladins team to the Paladins Invitational Tournament to be held at the Hi-Rez Expo in January 2017.
