Jagex is rewarding some of RuneScape’s most seasoned players with a brand new, typically showy, cape. The team is also battling some exploiters on the recently-opened Fresh Start servers.
The Wilderness boss rework for Old School RuneScape cotninues a little longer thanks to some tweaks and a new round of polling on rewards to accompany the intended boss changes.
Today, RuneScape opens up its Fresh Start worlds, offering members the chance to start fresh with a clean slate and new economy on these accelerated progression servers through early January.
Old School RuneScape has made some changes to Tombs of Amascut, as well as opened up betas for the Quest Speedrun feature, Poison Dynamite, and rewards for the rework of the Wilderness boss.
This week, RuneScape polishes some free-to-play areas with some new graphical updates. The coming patch will also have some changes to the Wilderness ruleset, and tweaks to the Daughter of Chaos quest.
There’s a new Yak Track for RuneScape, Expedition to the Wilderness, this time set in the newly-updated and revamped Wilderness. Jagex has also confirmed Fresh Start access will be available through gameplay and delays the start.
Tombs of Amascut is now live in Old School RuneScape. The new raid is full of lore and offers a customizable challenge, with the new Invocation system letting you choose your preferred challenge level.
As with all things Old School RuneScape, the community has had a chance to weigh in on the announced Wilderness Boss reworks, and Jagex has responded to some of the major points raised.�
