Star Wars: The Old Republic has been updated with the Profit & Plunder content expansion that brings the Eternal Championship online, a new Alliance Mission, and the new Plunderer Cartel Pack.

I expected things to pick back up in Chapter XIII, and they did, but not in a way that advanced the main story. Instead, what we got was essentially a complete filler chapter that takes us on an underworld adventure and reunites us with a couple of fan favorite companions in Gault & Vette. It’s filler, but it’s good filler.

Star Wars: The Old Republic players will have an opportunity to celebrate Star Wars Day on May 4th as well as participate in other celebratory activities. Between now and May 4th, players who log in can claim the Astromech Droid pet that will be delivered on May 5th. Players can also take part in the Eternal Championship Solo Speedrun from May 3rd to 17th that could see players heading to Europe to meet up with the Bioware team at a special Star Wars event.

Bioware has posted a brief look at the weapon tuning process, a way for players to customize their weaponry with nifty visual flair.

Bioware’s Ben Irving has gone on record via the Star Wars: The Old Republic forum to soothe player concerns about whether or not the game would receive ongoing support. Irving wrote, “The answer is absolutely yes.”

Bioware has revealed the release date of the next chapter in the ongoing story that is Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic – Knights of the Fallen Empire. Called Profit and Plunder, the next chapter unleashes the Outlander in an effort to turn the tide against the Eternal Empire.

BioWare recently released “Visions In The Dark,” the 12th chapter of Star Wars: The Old Republic’s story-driven expansion, Knights of the Fallen Empire. And it may have been one of the best chapter releases yet, if you’re a Force user.

Bioware has announced that Star Wars: The Old Republic has expanded with the next chapter in Knights of the Fallen Empire. Called Visions in the Dark, players can look forward to a new Alliance mission, new PvP challenges, a new Cartel pack and more.

Star Wars: The Old Republic has grown again with Knights of the Fallen Empire: Chapter XII: Visions in the Dark. The update brings Season 7 for Ranked Warzone Arenas, a new Warzone called Alliance Proving Ground, a new Warzone Arena, the Focus play ability where PvP and PvE instances are available on all servers, and much more.

The next chapter in Star Wars: The Old Republic Knights of the Fallen Empire has been revealed. Called Visions in the Dark, the story sees players on a path to confront Emperor Valkorion for the first time since becoming Outlanders. Along the way, dark secrets will be uncovered. Successfully completing the challenge will earn players a powerful new weapon “inspired by some of the greatest Force users in the galaxy”.
