When Star Wars: The Old Republic’s upcoming Onslaught expansion debuts on October 22, players will be able to go into the new adventure with a new appreciation for the lore thanks to a new interview.
Announced via tweet and covered in detail on their site, SWTOR has pushed the second major phase of Onslaught onto PTS.
You’ll get a chance to meet up with SWOTR devs for drinks in NYC. Space is limited though, so get there early.
In an interview with the combat team of SWTOR, via MMObits, information surrounding changes to the Mercenary class were revealed.

On Tuesday, July 16th, Star Wars: The Old Republic will be updated to bring sweeping changes to both the free-to-play and preferred experiences.
Star Wars: The Old Republic has been updated to v5.10.3 “The Dantooine Incursion”. New content invites players to head to and explore a brand new planet, Dantooine. The planet comes with a brand new in-game event called Pirate Incursion that ramps up the tensions between the Republic and the Empire. The planet is open for exploration at all times, though some daily quests are only available during peaceful times.
Star Wars: The Old Republic players who log into the game between now and May 6th will receive an M4-Y8 Astromech Droid in celebration of Star Wars Day. The Droid will be delivered in-game beginning May 10th. In addition, a number of Cartel Market items will be on sale throughout the week.
Earlier this month, BioWare announced the next expansion coming to Star Wars: The Old Republic. While the announcement was a bit thin on details, today Daniel Steed has pushed out a roadmap of Onslaught-related articles that will go up between now and the September release date.
During last night’s Chicago Cantina presentation, Star Wars: The Old Republic devs announced “Onslaught”, a new expansion coming to the game. Darth Malgus is back and is in command of the Sith fleet as it prepares “a devastating attack on the Republic”. Players will be able to choose to try to stop him, or to help him.
