Keith Kanneg has posted a brief note on the Star Wars: The Old Republic forum to let players know that the 2018 Roadmap is a work in progress and that it should appear sometime in mid-February which should provide a peek into the 90-days following its publication. In addition, Kanneg mentions that summer events are planned and that 6.0 is coming too.

Star Wars: The Old Republic devs will be hosting a special Facebook live stream on Thursday, December 7th with author Timothy Zahn. Zahn most recently “contributed to the crafting of the latest storyline in “A Traitor Among the Chiss”. In addition, Zahn has authored nearly a dozen Star Wars novels including Star Wars: Thrawn, a Chiss warrior from the Galactic Empire.
Star Wars: The Old Republic – A Traitor Among the Chiss Update Launches
Star Wars: The Old Republic has been updated with a new story addition called “A Traitor Among the Chiss”. Players will “embark on a daring new story-driven Flashpoint in pursuit of a rogue agent”. The action takes place on Copero where the job is to discover the traitor and his plans. Up to four players or a single player with companions can play through the Flashpoint.
Star Wars: The Old Republic – ‘A Host of Utility Changes’ Heading Out the Gate on November 28th
Earlier this fall, BioWare wrote in its roadmap about a number of utility changes coming to all Star Wars: The Old Republic classes. In a change from earlier class balance tweaks, the team has decided to “deliver all of them to you at once”. Included is the first information about big changes coming to multiplayer starting with the deployment of the United Forces Campaign in November. Some components of United Forces, mostly of the quality of life ilk, will be coming in October including an extended maintenance period on October 24th and the full campaign coming on November 8th.

Star Wars: The Old Republic – Crisis on Umbara Launch Delayed Due to Critical Bug
Eric Musco has informed Star Wars: The Old Republic players that today’s launch of Update 5.4: Crisis on Umbara has been delayed by 24-hours. Apparently, a critical bug cropped up in the Crisis on Umbara Flashpoint. To give the team time to squash the nasty critter, the update has been delayed until Wednesday.
