TERA players looking forward to the addition of the new Gunner class and for the anniversary events to kick off can get a head start on the action by pre-loading tomorrow’s update.
TERA: Three Years & Counting
The TERA site has been updated with a note celebrating the third anniversary of the game’s launch. In honor of the momentous occasion, players can take advantage of a leveling event that rewards two times experience through June 2nd. In addition, on May 12th, the T.E.R.A. where special events will give players each of the letters in the game’s name. Collecting all four will give players a brand new Jadeheart dragon mount.
TERA: Gunner Class Announced & Steam Launch Set for May 5th
En Masse Entertainment has announced that a new class is coming to TERA to celebrate the official Steam launch set for May 5th. The Gunner class will specialize in, as the name implies, arc canons and rapid fire AoE. Check out the video below and mark your calendar for May 5th.
TERA: Get Two Weeks of Elite Status for Free During Birthday Bash
TERA is about to turn three years old. Both new and former players, or players who are not subscribed to the game, are invited to check out a special event that will grant them two weeks of elite status just for playing the game. The team has set up a series of events for players to take part in and, if all are completed, the two weeks will be added to their accounts.
TERA: Fate of Arun Skycastles Update to Go Live Tomorrow
En Masse Entertainment has published the official update notes for the TERA: Fate of Arun patch that is set to deploy tomorrow, Tuesday, February 24th beginning at 7:00 am Pacific / 10:00 am Eastern. The most notable addition to TERA is the incoming Skycastles and the new GvG functionality.

If you are an MMORPG fan like I am, it is easy to become a little depressed, thanks to the seemingly endless discussions over the "death" of MMOs and studio closures or while reading the comments section. (Note to self: stop it.) Even with my Jedi-level "game journalist" training (I put that on all of my business cards) I still find myself occasionally feeling down. Blue. Sad. TERA: Say Hello to the Sky Cruiser Endeavor
The Valkyon Federation’s biggest and baddest new airship is going on the offensive in TERA’s next major update. Striking at the heart of the archdevans, the Endeavor is damaged in battle by the archdevans and demokrons. The ship was abandoned, but the baddies take command of the Endeavor and plan to turn the ship’s engines into mighty explosives, decimating the baraka city of Highwatch.
TERA: Skycastles Loft into Game on February 24th
En Masse Entertainment has announced that guilds will be able to snag a piece of the wild blue yonder when skycastles come floating into TERA: Rising on February 24th. Skycastles will be awarded to top guilds on each server for successful completion of a series of events focused on guild rewards and group content.
TERA: Castles in the Sky Coming in February
The first producer’s letter for TERA: Rising has been published on the official site. Of particular note is the arrival of new content in February in the form of an addition to the Fate of Arun expansion launched recently. Guilds will not only have access to castles but those castles will be in the sky!
