Warhammer 40K: Eternal Crusade has been updated with a large new patch that brings a ton of new content including new map features, garrison dueling, the Hold the Line for Zedek and Maggon, Grav weapons, an overhauled Battle Loadout, tweaks to melee and parrying, bug fixes and animations polish. It’s like a brand new game!

Behaviour Interactive is celebrating yesterday’s release of Warhammer 40k: Eternal Crusade on Steam with a new trailer called At the Heart of the Maelstrom.

The latest Warhammer 40K: Eternal Crusade newsletter has been sent out that heralds the Steam Early Access release for the game, a momentous occasion to be sure. Players can look forward to improvements to systems and features that are as a direct result of player feedback, an advanced graphics menu, balance updates, performance fixes and much, much more.

Behaviour Interactive devs will be on hand during today’s weekly Warhammer 40K: Eternal Crusade live stream event to show off how players will be able to customize characters, said to be as unique as painting a tabletop miniature.

Behaviour Interactive’s Nathan Richardsson has posted the latest State of the Crusade letter on the Warhammer 40k: Eternal Crusade Steam page to give players the latest update about the recent announcement that the game would be released on September 23rd. Richardsson first discusses why the decision was made to launch on Steam for PC and reveals some details about post-release content plans.

To better prepare Warhammer 40K: Eternal Crusade for its PC launch on September 23rd, publisher Bandai-Namco has stopped production for console versions of the game. According to B-N, the decision was difficult but was made in the best interest of focusing on the PC version to make it one that “matches our ambitions in terms of content and quality”.

Behaviour Interactive is ready to unleash Warhammer 40K: Eternal Crusade for PC and announced the official date via a brand new trailer straight out of Gamescom 2016.
