World of Tanks – Italian Goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon Comes Rumbling Along with Italian Tank Line

Legendary Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon is coming to World of Tanks. Along with him, he brings eleven new Italian vehicles into the game, including a “never-before-seen autoreloader mechanic” into the game. The Italian line will feature a series of lightly armored vehicles, higher damage mid-tier vehicles and Tier VIII+ post-WWII designs that include the autoreloader mechanic.

World of Tanks – Wargaming Forms VR Firm Called Neurogaming to Bring WoT to Virtual Reality

If you’ve ever dreamed of driving a tank, Wargaming has your back. The company has partnered with a venture fund company to form a new venture called Neurogaming. One of the first tasks on the docket is to bring World of Tanks to virtual reality at some point in the future. To do so, two will be working on a pair of projects, one called Cinema VR, the other called Polygon VR.

World of Tanks – All New v1.0 Overhauls the Underlying Technological Base – Heading Out in March 2018

World of Tanks will be seeing a nearly new game debut in March 2018. A new graphics engine will overhaul the entire technological base of the game and replace it with the CORE graphics engine. The game will be reimagined with redesigned graphical standards and each map “will have a distinguished flair” for deeper immersion. In addition, the entire sound tech as well. Each map will sport its own unique sound theme.

World of Tanks – Runaway Tiger is WoT’s Fifth War Stories Campaign & It’s Out Now on Consoles

World of Tanks players who have been enjoying the War Stories Campaigns will be pleased to hear that Runaway Tiger, the fifth in the series, is now out on all consoles. In this chapter, players will experience the Battle of El Alamein, but with a twist. Runaway Tiger is an alternate history campaign where “Allies have secretly gained access to a German production facility”.

World of Tanks – Wargaming.net League’s 2017 Championship Teams Announced

The World of Tanks 2017 Championship roster of teams for the Wargaming.net League 2017 tournament has been announced. Each region (EU, CIS,NA,APAC and CH) will have teams represented and will compete for a share of the $300,000 prize pool at this year’s WG Fest. The first event will take place during the playoffs from December 13-17 with the finals held at the Moscow Expocenter on december 23rd.
