The World of Warcraft community page has been updated with a new blog that gives a brief preview of the new site design that will go live on July 26th. It is a much more modern look and is optimized for mobile devices of all sizes, including phones and tablets. The forums are also being upgraded but will keep all of the existing posts.

The latest World of Warcraft: Legion comic has been posted that centers around Anduin, son of King Varian Wrynn. In this edition, Anduin has been changed from scholarly priest to King of Stormwind after the death of his father. When faced with a demon representative of the Legion, Anduin is forced to choose between peace and war.

With this week’s major update to World of Warcraft in preparation for the Legion expansion coming on August 30th, a lot of new systems went into place. Every player class and specialization received an update in both skills and talents. The bottom line is that if people think they’re going to breeze in on Legion launch day without attending to several things, it’s more than slightly likely that somewhere, somehow they will hear “YOU ARE NOT PREPARED!”

The first in a series of videos to profile some of the most notable World of Warcraft legends has arrived. The first of the Harbingers movies reveals the backstory of Gul’Dan, one of the most notorious of the game’s villains. Cast out from his clan, rejected by the elements, Gul’Dan wrested power from the world. It is a beautifully made video that lore hounds will love and fans of WoW will appreciate.

The pre-patch brings the much-anticipated transmog system, gnome hunters and class updates into the game. A few weeks later, the ramp up to the August 30th Legion expansion release will begin with a demon invasion event and the arrival of the new Demon Hunter class.
