With World of Warcraft’s latest expansion, Warlords of Draenor, sitting at eight months out the gate, it is time to take a look back at WoD, now considered to be ‘feature complete’. Has Warlords added meaningful and interesting content to WoW? Is there enough to keep players going until a new expansion?
Blizzard announced the Warcraft Chronicle series several months ago. According to pre-release information, the first volume should arrive sometime this year and will focus on the time period roughly covered by Warcraft 1 (creation of the universe through The Last Guardian). There is no guarantee how long this will remain online, but it appears a user has leaked legitimate VR footage from the forthcoming Warcraft movie due out in 2016. The video shows a griffon flying over Stormwind. Enjoy it while you can and be sure to view in Chrome that supports the 360 viewing.

Stephan Frost, formerly of Carbine Studios and the WildStar team, has sent out a Twitter post that he is now the Design Producer for World of Warcraft. What that means for WoW or what the job entails will remain to be seen. We’ll keep you posted!

Last week marked the big Fury of Hellfire v6.2 patch to World of Warcraft. After what seemed like months of high hopes for much more and much better content, players have spent the last several days adventuring through Tanaan Jungle and checking out the usefulness of the new Shipyard. Legendary will be hosting a special panel during the San Diego Comic-Con on July 11th to show off several of its upcoming films. Most notable for our readers is the inclusion of the "Warcraft" movie that is scheduled for release in 2016.
With the release of the World of Warcraft v6.2, Fury of Hellfire, update, players can now begin to work on earning the Draenor Pathfinder meta-achievement which is an account-wide unlock for all player characters at level 90+. The most important thing to remember when working on gaining the meta-achievement is that most of these can be multi-tasked and can be completed concurrently while questing / exploring / gathering.
