For those of us who live in MMOs just to costume and show off, World of Warcraft’s upcoming Dragonflight expansion will have a much needed and appreciated change in store to how it deals with transmogs.
In preparation for the official launch of World of Warcraft Wrath of the Lich King Classic, I had the opportunity to participate in an interview with Brian Birmingham and Ana Resendez. They are both Lead Software Engineers on WoW Wrath of the Lich King Classic. There were a lot of topics covered during this interview, but here are some of the highlights.
World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King Classic is coming on September 26th, and Blizzard today has confirmed the exact launch timing for the global launch. Additionally, the developer talked upcoming loot and dungeon changes coming with Wrath Classic in a new interview.
Solo Shuffle is getting a spotlight with its first-ever esports tournament this weekend. This is also World of Warcraft’s first-ever tournament where players compete as individuals.
Brewfest is back in World of Warcraft, with both Shadowlands and Wrath of the Lich King Classic celebrating. There’s also a special short story available to read, taken from last year’s compilation Folk & Fairy Tales of Azeroth.
With Season 4 of Shadowlands going on now, Blizzard has released a new list of activities and rewards that will become difficult or even impossible to obtain once Dragonflight launches.
Blizzard has shared a compilation of what you should know before Wrath of the Lich King Classic opens up later this month. They also released the list of global unlock times for the new expansion.
World of Warcraft Classic is getting two additional Fresh Start servers for Wrath of the Lich King Classic after strong community demand in North America and Europe. Blizzard also made Battlegrounds easier to queue for.
The Scourge Invasion has begun earlier than expected in World of Warcraft Classic. After planning for it to start several days from now, Classic players have some more time to take it all in before Wrath Classic is out.
With Wrath of the Lich King Classic coming, World of Warcraft Classic has queue issues and Blizzard really needs players to move off of the packed mega-realms (which are now closed to new characters and transfers indefinitely).
