Make Your Mortal Kombat X Opponents Afraid of Jumping in This Anti-Air Tutorial
When it comes to landing that all important first hit in a Mortal Kombat X match, there are many people who choose to start their strings with a jump. If you’re having problems with opponents who are doing just that, Mortal Kombat X has a host of options for dealing with it–though they might not be immediately apparent.
Ragnarok has put together a great tutorial explaining how to find your best anti-air options, and showing off some of the strongest techniques for characters like Ermac and Erron Black. He also goes a bit further: breaking down cross-ups and how to deal with them, alongside showing off a bit of trip guarding tech to deal with long distance jump-ins. Check it out below.

Gerald Lee from Core-A Gaming Gives His Perspective of Evo 2016 in His Latest Video
While the hype from Evo may be dying down, the input from people in attendance continues to flow in. Here to add his own perspective to the event is Gerald “mintcheerios” Lee, of Core-A Gaming.
Gerald Lee had previously attended Evolution 2013 as a spectator, not a player. This year, his participation in the event changed: he came not only as a player, but as a content producer whom people found themselves excited to meet. As such, he is able to give a unique perspective on the event.
Lee first provides a perfunctory history on Evo, and then compares his experience between both events. He gives some takes on both playing and spectating, and being a part of some of the after-hours events, such as the ArcadeStream/Hawaii Salty Suite–which featured such notable players as XSK Samurai and Keoma. He also talks further about how Evolution proves itself the FGC variant of the Olympics, and its notable dream matches–such as Knee of Tekken fame playing Poongko (of mainly Street Fighter notoriety) in the top 8 of Tekken 7: Fated Retribution.
This video is certainly worth a watch, as Lee entertains and educates while explaining his point of view with eloquence and humor.
