Capcom Addresses Ibuki’s Delay, Promises Better Communication Regarding Street Fighter V’s Content in the Future
As we already know, Street Fighter V’s Ibuki is scheduled to release alongside the game’s cinematic story expansion in June, instead of in May as previously planned. In a series of Tweets, Capcom has addressed this delay and clarified some things about it.
Regarding Ibuki herself, Capcom states that she was originally planned to launch at the end of May, but unforeseen issues have caused her to miss her target release date, which is why she was moved to launch alongside the story mode instead.
We planned for her to come out at the end of May/beginning of June but there were unforeseen delays. Thank you for being patient.

More importantly however, Capcom has also addressed the fact that they haven’t been very communicative with the community regarding the details of these content updates. Now, they’ve stated that will work to give out these details in a much more timely manner.
Moving forward we will work to communicate information surrounding content releases in #SFV at a much more rapid pace.

General: Game On #84 | Overwatched
This week on Game On, Chris and Brax sit down to discuss a week dominated by Overwatch, but that’s not all! They also discuss Battleborn’s immediate $20 price cut, No Man’s Sky’s latest delay, Fallout 4: Far Harbor, Funcom’s life saving investment, and the Warcraft movie. Small correction: the Smite controversy was about Hindu deities. Not Buddha. Our bad.
