Desk Pulls Out Insane El Fuerte Combo in Trailer for Next Ultra Street Fighter IV Exhibition

We know Desk, you know Desk. He’s an execution master with a penchant for creating ridiculous combo videos, and he’s set to follow up one of his previous projects sometime in the near future with a brand new Ultra Street Fighter IV exhibition.

To tease his sequel to Playing Street Fighter, Desk has released a quick video demonstrating a lengthy El Fuerte combo that incorporates numerous reps of his Run Stop Fierce loop, a handful of high-execution links, stun, and more to shave off about 80% of Dhalsim’s health, without the use of Super or Ultra.

One of the more interesting things about this video (outside the combo itself, obviously) is Desk’s use of on-screen prompts to show you just what he’s using in the devastating string. This is similar to another series of his from back in 2011.

Playing Street Fighter 2 is coming soon but, for now, feel free to check out the teaser above and let us know what you think. If you missed out on the first installment, you can watch it here.

Here’s some great news for folks in the far east who are looking to pick up BlazBlue: Chronophantasma. The Japanese version of the game is being re-released as part of Sony’s PlayStation 3 the Best collection in Japan and various parts of Asia.

For those who aren’t familiar with the designation, the Best is basically Sony’s Greatest Hits line in Japan. This means that, starting today, Chronophantasma can now be purchased at discounted prices–retail copies are now available for ¥3024 (~$28 USD) and the digital version can be had for only ¥2800 (~$26 USD).

Whether or not the western version of the game will see a Greatest Hits re-release is as of yet unknown. This could be the perfect opportunity for more players to jump into Chronophantasma, especially with the ver.2.0 release on its way, so stay tuned for more information.
