UltraChen TV Analyzes Infiltration’s Road to Capcom Cup 2014

The folks over at Capcom have just released the very first installment of a new series that details the players involved in Capcom Cup 2014. For this, they have teamed up with commentating duo David “UltraDavid” Graham and James Chen of UltraChen TV, who will be looking at competitors on an individual basis.

These videos are planned to offer insight into how each player qualified for Capcom Cup, their history in fighting games, some things to look out for in their gameplay during the big event, and more.

Today, they’re starting off with one of the best players in the world, Seonwoo “Infiltration” Lee. A dominant competitor who has risen to prominence in only the past few years, this Korean representative is capable of turning matches around in a very short span of time with his large stable of characters. Though he’s fallen off a bit recently, his in-depth knowledge of Ultra Street Fighter IV will also put him at an advantage.

Focus Attack, Donate Cans Returns to Colorado for Another Charity Food Drive Tournament

David Watt and the fine folks at Strike First Colorado are set to host a follow-up to highly successful charity tournament they put on last year. Focus Attack, Donate Cans (or FADC for you Street Fighter players out there) gathered 1000 cans of non-perishable food and 16 turkeys for the Denver Rescue Mission during the inaugural event, and the organizers are looking to surpass those numbers this weekend.

Players will be able to get into the doors with ten cans of food, with an additional five cans for each game they want to enter. FADC 2014 will feature competition in Ultra Street Fighter IV, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, King of Fighters XIII, BlazBlue: Chronophantasma, and Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late.

In addition to foodstuffs, First Strike will also be taking monetary donations, 100% of which will go to the Denver Rescue Mission to help them purchase more Thanksgiving turkeys for the local homeless population. This is the perfect way for all you charitable folks out there to get in on the action if you won’t be able to make the tournament in person.

A special PayPal account has been set up to take in such donations, but you can also donate to the Denver Rescue Mission directly by visiting their website.
