Everyone has a fighting chance
Marvel Heroes 2015 has added a new game mode for players called Industry City Patrol. Players of level twelve and above can take part in epic battles against new bosses and grab new medallions, artifacts and some uniques found nowhere else in the game.
Sony recently made note that PlayStation Network will go down on November 17, for a number of hours so that they can perform a handful of background improvements to the network.
As if Mondays weren’t bad enough, right?
Fortunately, there’s a work-around. Should you log into PlayStation Network between now and the outage’s scheduled start time (10 AM PST, 1 PM EST), online play will still work along with third-party services like Netflix. Should you forgo this option, however, the wait will only be around six hours long, so don’t stress about being away from netplay for too long.
Better than being completely in the dark, I say.

World Series of Fighting is back with another mixed martial arts offering, this time serving up World Series of Fighting 15.
Just a quick public service announcement for all you folks out there planning to attend Moment 37 Reloaded: the period for normal registration is set to end today, which means that fees will soon rise.
As things currently sit, base registration costs $35, with an additional $10 for every game you want to play. After today, that price will go up to $50, with on-site registration bumped to $100 for those of you who like to take risks and happen to be flush with cash.
If you’ve been out of the loop for the past few months, Moment 37 Reloaded is set to pay homage to the famous Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike match from Evo 2004 that saw Daigo Umehara’s Ken parry Justin Wong’s full Chun-Li super and punish to clinch the round. For many, footage of that event was what first got them into fighting games, and those few seconds still serve as a great example of the hype our community can build.
In addition to Street Fighter III, Moment 37 Reloaded will feature competition in Marvel vs. Capcom 2, Capcom vs. SNK 2, and Super Street Fighter II Turbo, all of which made up the official Evo lineup ten years ago. Oh, and there’s going to be a side tournament for Ultra Street Fighter IV–yes, a side tournament. That should clue you into just what kind of event this will be.
Moment 37 Reloaded is set to take place November 22-23 at the venue where it all began, Cal Poly Pomona. You’ll find all the information you’ll need on this event by visiting the official website.

Some of you eagle-eyed Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 viewers may have noticed that Macro Micro Gaming’s Vineeth “Apologyman” Meka has implemented some unique things with Doctor Doom’s airborne attacks. Zissou recently put out a video that breaks down what exactly he is doing so that more Doom players can apply it to their game.
Doctor Doom’s air offense usually breaks down to two things: either he dashes in diagonally with a jump M or he does a footdive. Each has its own negatives, with the former easily countered by push blocking and the latter unable to hit high.
What Apologyman has done is find a way to combine both approaches. Not only does performing the H footdive after landing from a jump M help maintain Doom’s forward momentum, the moves will also combo if done fast enough.

WWE Superstars Results: Big E Gets A Win, Sin Cara In Action, Curtis Axel Loses Again
In his latest update on the Ultra-Combo forums, Microsoft creative director Adam Isgreen dropped a number of new details about Killer Instinct’s next character release, who is planned to launch on November 24 for owners of the game’s Ultra version and November 30 for Combo pack holders.
Kan-Ra, who has been described as a trap grappler, will serve as season two’s third character after TJ Combo and Maya as well as the very first newcomer after season one’s Sadira. A former Vizier to the king of Babylon, the scholar was inflicted with a slow-rotting curse after plotting to overthrow the ruling monarch. Over the years, he has found ways to slow his painful disintegration, resulting in his life extending well beyond 2500 years.
The developers plan to fully reveal Kan-Ra with a trailer and live stream next Friday, just in time for his official release. A full look at his concept art has been included below; be sure to click through for a larger version.
Isgreen also mentioned that, moving forward, they will be releasing far more details about upcoming characters before their release. This new initiative will begin in January, as the cast member they have planned for December will have an accelerated release well before Christmas.
