With a month to go before The Elder Scrolls Online morphs into a buy to play game under the mouthful of a new title The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited, there is now more info on how things will work after the switch. When the switch was announced, and the buy to play option with future DLC (included for subscribers or available for purchase) made known, there were still some pressing questions left with regards to just what this might entail.
When Paul Neurath and his team set out to make a new Underworld game, they wanted to make sure it stayed true to the originals from the early 1990s. Lucky for them, despite much success and critical adulation, no one’s quite made a game like Underworld since then. We chatted with Paul about Underworld Ascendant and its use of the Improvisation Engine to make a much more believable and unscripted world for its players.
If you are an MMORPG fan like I am, it is easy to become a little depressed, thanks to the seemingly endless discussions over the "death" of MMOs and studio closures or while reading the comments section. (Note to self: stop it.) Even with my Jedi-level "game journalist" training (I put that on all of my business cards) I still find myself occasionally feeling down. Blue. Sad. Wondering about the future of "real" MMO gaming.

Marvelo’s most recent combo video makes a strong argument for Storm’s viability in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3. While the leader of the X-Men does see some tournament play, it’s typically only at the hands of those who have come to be known for using her, like Evil Geniuses’ Justin Wong. That said, we already know that she pairs well with Wolverine and Akuma, so Marvelo moves on from that team composition rather quickly and goes on to show her synergy with a great number of other cast members.
The combos typically involve Storm opening up her target and then transferring things over to one of the game’s heavy hitters, like Doctor Strange or Doctor Doom. And really, what combo video would be complete without a hard tag into a corner combo from everyone’s favorite Latverian?
