While Street Fighter V will be playable at E3 2015 next week, Capcom won’t be resting on their laurels, oh no. Peter “Combofiend” Rosas recently took to Capcom-Unity to announced a number of exciting events the developers have planned for both casual fans and high-level competitors attending the convention.

First off, single-elimination tournaments will be held intermittently throughout the week, allowing players to jump in on a first come, first served basis and test their skills against seven fellow enthusiasts on the Capcom Pro Tour stage. Winning will net you Street Fighter V prizes, so do your best for a chance at some nice swag.

Rosas himself will obviously be quite busy, participating in both a kumite against global competitors and in-depth character demonstrations. Players set to take on the community manager include Evil Geniuses’ Justin Wong, Ricki Ortiz, PR Balrog, Momochi, K-Brad, and Chocoblanka; Mad Catz’ Daigo Umehara, Tokido, and Mago; and Razer’s Xian, Fuudo, and RB.

Finally, the visiting pros will square off in singles and team tournaments, providing even more high-level footage of the upcoming title, before editors of various publications try their hands at the game in their very own bracket.

Many of these events will be streamed live courtesy of Capcom Fighters, so be sure to check out the full schedule below and get ready for a massive influx of Street Fighter V gameplay.

ARC REVOLUTION CUP 2015 to Focus Entirely on Team Competition

Following up on their initial announcement last month, Arc System Works has revealed a few more details concerning the next installment of national tournament series ARC REVOLUTION CUP.

According to these new details, main titles Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- and BlazBlue: Chronophantasma EXTEND will see competition by three-player teams instead of the usual singles brackets. While last year’s event featured a similar format for BlazBlue, this is the first time in their short history that the entire event has been dedicated to team competition. Both titles will be played on PlayStation 4.

Persona 4 Arena Ultimax (known as Persona 4 The Ultimax Ultra Suplex Hold in Japan) has also been added to the tournament as a side game, with a hint of more to come. It will also adhere to the 3-on-3 format, only on arcade cabinets instead of consoles.

ARC REVOLUTION CUP 2015 is scheduled for August 15 at the Shinagawa Intercity Hall in Tokyo, Japan.
