Arc System Works Announces Another Round of BlazBlue: Central Fiction Location Testing

With two separate location tests under their belts, Arc System Works is ready to give the upcoming BlazBlue: Central Fiction yet another public workout later this month. These demos are scheduled for September 19-20, and will again be held at a variety of game centers in Japan. This time around, the title’s online player guild will be live, though with limited functionality.

Central Fiction expands the BlazBlue experience by introducing two new playable characters, Naoto Kurogane and Hibiki Kohaku (both pictured above), as well as a host of updated gameplay mechanics like the super powerful Exceed Accel attacks and Active Flow, which rewards offensive play with enhanced damage and Burst recovery.

BlazBlue: Central Fiction is scheduled to launch in arcades this winter. In the meantime, feel free to check out SKD’s impressions, more details on its additions, and gameplay footage from the very first location tests.
