Daily Dot eSports’ Best of III has been doing a bang up job with interviewing fighting game community personalities as of late, and their latest interview is no exception. The latest installment of their show welcomed the man of many hats David “UltraDavid” Graham onto the show to discuss recent happenings in the scene.

Over the course of this interview, the team at Best of III talk to Graham about a wide range of topics, including Canada Cup, the most recent Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 tournaments wins, and more. Some of the meatier discussion, however, happens when they touch on the state of Ultra Street Fighter IV compeition, the impact of the Capcom Pro Tour, and the Street Fighter V leaks.

Regarding the lattermost conversaton point, Graham feels sad about these leaks as, to him, they lessen the excitement of waiting for the game. Having been on the other side and worked with clients whose information has been found early, he understands the effects it has on their planning, but also mentions that they are generally unavoidable and companies need to learn to plan around them.

As for Street Fighter V itself, Graham mentions that he likes what he’s seen thus far and is looking forward to every chance he can get to play the game. To him, the style and pace of the game feels closer to the older Street Fighter games than Street Fighter IV.
