Torment: Tides of Numenera: Backers’ Beta to Begin Week of January 17th

inXile has big news for fans of Torment: Tides of Numenera: Backers will be able to check out the Numenera beta beginning the week of January 17th with Steam Early Access scheduled to start on January 26th. Players will be able to experience Torment’s earliest zones in what the team calls a “quite lengthy (experience) for an early beta.”

Origins Of Malu: ‘Slowly Coming Back Alive’ According to New Post

A new post on the Origins of Malu Steam page has been published that indicates that the team is ‘slowly coming back to life’. In addition to this good news, the OoM roadmap has been revealed along with the big news that a mobile tie-in version of the game is being developed as a top-down, story-based action shooter. Independent teams are working on each version of Origins.

General: Oculus 2012 Backers to Get Free Kickstarter Edition Rift

Backers of the original Oculus Rift 2012 KickStarter initiative will be rewarded for their faith and forward vision. Backers will be given a free retail “Kickstarter Edition” Oculus Rift headset. Surveys will be sent out before February 1st. This gift affects nearly 7,000 of the original 9,500 backers.

General: Bombshell – Old Friends Meet Up in New Trailer

Bombshell is set to be released on January 29th. In a new trailer, we get a sneak peek at a meeting between two “old friends”, setting up the rivalry between Shelly “Bombshell” Harrison and Porfessor Jadus Heskel. Heskel’s character is voiced by none other than Jon St. John aka the voice of Duke Nukem. Check it out!
